This is the question that most parents ask themselves after their son (or daughter) no longer listens to them or appears to be out of control! I would be the first to say “Yes”! God expects you to guide your son (or daughter) to a future that will uplift His name and yours. Your son is not bad or evil he may just be misunderstood or going through some peer pressure that he does not want to share with you, his parent. As the leader of the home and the parent, your job is to discern what is going on and coach him through this temporary situation. Yes, it is your job to guide your son through this frustrating, and sometimes difficult, maze that we call life because if you don’t some other misguided person will.
